It was like a spontaneous gathering of people who shared a new point
about life. It was the culmination of sixties’ revolution in music and the anti-aauthorities and
anti-establishment feeling that pervaded throughout the young people at that time.

While half a million youngsters were at Woodstock, an equal number were slogging
through the jungles of Vietnam.
Part of solution or part of the problem.
It was not a time of gray complexity.
